Another - and the VERY LAST - son of Favorito que tal, this 1999, non-fading blue-black - turning grey 14. 1 1/2hh, 3/4 Colombian- 1/4 rare Cuban has already proven himself as a yearling by being 3rd National Champion Breeders' Sweepstakes winner.

Alado's dam , who is sired by the all-time TOP producing stallion, and out of the TOP producing mare in the original APF registry (making her as "foundation" as it gets), was herself the last PFHA National Champion in Agility Sweepstakes (a class calling for timed pole bending in the largo, figure 8 in canter with change of leads, among other things!) and ResNCh in Driving. Alado is certainly proving his blood in his versatility of gait, great looks, bold unshakable trail attitude, and incredibly easy to handle, friendly and tractable personality.

Why am I standing 2 sons of Favorito que tal? Pazarro is the linebred, "hotter" horse, ideal for mares needing a bit more brio (yet remain tractable), more elevation and tightness to the corto while still retaining- and even increasing - the ability to largo (he has more of a performance gait), whereas Alado is an outcross, adds color, and is ideal for where a milder, very evenly calm temperament for a mare is sought - without loss of the willingness of true brio. With either horse, you still get the great hock action, wonderfully balanced conformation, beautiful head, and bold fearlessness and tractability for trail or show …and natural evenness of gait, of course! It just affords more types of mares the availability of being bred correctly to this very proven and versatile bloodline.
