Sired by a pure Puerto Rican son of many time International, as well as PR Champion, Cupido, out a multi-national champion producing direct double Eblis daughter, Mimosa, a full Colombian Meridian Meadows import, Dahlia combined the very finest of both countries of origin in American foundation lines.

While handicapped herself from serious near-death illness when a suckling, she has gone on to produce numerous Bellas Formas winners and Champions, including the currently shown Appasionata del Reino. An alpha mare and herd leader since age 5, she imparts that "star quality" essential to winners, and the mark of a high-bred quality horse. Beyond beauty and boldness, Dahlia imparted impeccably steady gait and tremendously intelligent, solid temperament and brio to her get.  I very much enjoyed using her for Eblis linebred horses, although she nicked very well on outcrosses too.
