SOLAZO DEL REINO

(Eleason de Solana x La Diva del Reino)

If this 1997 gelding looks just like Hilachas, its because he's triple Hilachas! Including the head, if you can find it under all that hair, inherited from not only his fino momma, but Malvaloca Sin Par, producer of at least 3 Fino N Ch. His grandmother, Bonita, is also fino and a 2xRNCH and produce of Dam.  This royally bred, 7/8 Colombian, rich bay gelding  can go fino or performance, or both!  He is a  classic "balanced pedigree," double linebred, not only on Hilachas, but Resorte III as well, through National Fino Champions Capuchino and Belmonte (first son of Resorte III in the States).

Tightly and quickly gaited, from his grandsire Capuchino as well, he has the high, show stopping front and hock action that is a Hilachas hallmark; a friendly, willing but quite bold disposition, he's somewhat "the clown" of the barn with his bouncy, attention-getting personality - and the intelligence to combine for a "quick study" whenever learning.  His looks, gait, and attitude make him a wise choice for show, parades, or trail riding in style!  He has the charisma to turn heads wherever he is, or goes!

AGRACIADO DEL REINO

(Excalibur's Embellazo x Alicia Marvi)

One look at this '04 golden bay gelding, and you just KNOW he's something special….and obviously, he knows it, too!  Very charismatic, well-muscled, outgoing, curious, and TALL-his parents are 15h and 14.2 - Agraciado has the powerful muscling of his Eblis blood in addition to the elegance of his double Hilachas and also TRIPLE GUALA (dam of Resorte III, producing several other American NChs as well!) heritage. His dam is a daughter of GrNatCh Magnifico de Tomaria, a son of National Champions himself!  You are welcome to ride his parents.

SECRETO CABALLERO

(Excalibur's Embellazo x Elena Salago)

Paso McDreamy, he’s all that! A 14.2h elegantly refined true BLACK 2001 gelding,

Secreto is as personable as he is beautiful. A great horse for an intermediate rider, Secreto is well-mannered, with just the right amount of brio to be competitive, whether that is competitive trail or even show. Currently he’s mainly been trained to only mildly collect for trailriding, including excellent differentiation of gait from corto to largo (has a great ground covering flat walk too), but his beautifully proud natural carriage is very amenable to be worked into show pleasure with just a bit more collection.  He’d be a good candidate for Bellas Formas class, too. Moves well in bosal or bit.

Currently he’s just being trail ridden by himself and with company, and enjoying every minute of it. He’s a real people pleaser in every respect.

Hijo del Amanecer
(Viajente del Encina x Mandee G)

Hijo is a HUGE 15.1 1/2h 1994 Sabino gelding, that was a big pet and pasture ornament until this past year when he went under saddle.  He's very personable and loves attention...albeit a bit spoiled, but he's done very well under saddle.  He's got a smooth, ground-covering gait.  While still green on trails, but very good with a bit of an assertive rider, with some more miles under his surcingle, he'll make a great family horse.  He's a more laid back, confident horse, and NOT a "nervous nelly" at all.  Hijo is a great choice for a large man (the man in the photos is 6 feet tall), they rarely come as big as he is.  He wont last long at this price!

$2200

**note: "sold to be gelded" is done so that you can geld when you'd like, yet not have to pay a "colt price" at the time of purchase - some people like waiting until a colt is older, to improve muscling/have a crestier neck, etc…..HOWEVER -"sold to be gelded" will be stamped on the papers by the registry at time of transfer, so that if the horse is NOT gelded in the future, none of his get are eligible for registration. The lowered price is given in consideration of the expense of gelding, and cannot be used to avoid paying the higher price as a breeding colt for registered stock, and cannot be rescinded once its done.**

CHARLOTA DE LA ISLA
(Architecto El Batey x Turabo's Sienna Sin Tacha)

Charlota, foaled in 1994, is a 14.1 hand dark brown true rabicano mare, half Colombian /half Puerto Rican.  Her sire, while never shown and always enjoyed as a pleasure horse, is a son of National Champion Contratista, son of Resorte IV, and Top Ten Dam Hilachas daughter, Susie que tal, dam of multi-National Champion El Chino El Batey.  Her PR dam was a daughter of the well-known Kofresi-blooded Turabo, and her dam Lula  FN, also  a National Champion producing daughter of the famous broodmare producer, Sonador.

Needless to say, Charlota is very correctly gaited, with very balanced conformation and a beautiful Hilachas head, his high front and rear hock action, the PR lines consistency of gait, flashy coloration, and steady temperament on trails, and the high Resorte headset and elegant carriage. She has been used to pony other horses, and so can neck rein, tolerate another horse up close, and yet has a good amount of brio.  She is fine for a confident advanced beginner or intermediate rider, has a well differentiated corto and ground-covering largo…..and yes, she will walk! (although she'd rather be gaiting) She'd work out well for an endurance or competitive trail horse, or "trainer" for younger horses.

CONSTANCIA DEL REINO
(Excalibur's Embellazo x Lady Liberty)

A huge, elegant and beautifully rich mahogany bay '04 filly with A LOT of CHARISMA! I can already see she's got the performance hocks of her momma, a successful show horse, and that INCREDIBLE shoulder of her daddy, yet the deepest I've ever seen on a filly, and what a chest!  Constancia will be just that gait-wise...consistent!  Her 3/4 PR dam is by a Col stallion imported from PR, and superbly Kofresi bred momma.  Her full sister (sold last year) is well on her way to 15h, and I'm sure Constancia will also be in that neighborhood, being born much taller!  A very well-balanced temperament -plenty of brio, yet very personable, level-headed and coolly self-confident! She is an outstanding selection for show and pleasure!

$6000  Price will increase with training

MALATTIA SECRETA

(Excalibur's Embellazo x Elena Salago)

This really cute, dark brown, almost black 2000 mare stands 14.1 plus, and is very people oriented and has lots of personality. She loves to be busy, and has a very steady, natural gait with great range from slow corto to really good extended largo, but flat walking on a relaxed rein is just fine with her, too. She’s a bit more laid back than her full brother Secreto, so may be a better choice for a less assertive intermediate rider. Although not a beginner’s horse, she is nonetheless, very well mannered, very willing and wanting to please. She has lovely, high-headed elegant carriage, is good on trails, easy to ride with just a bosal, and would make a great competitive trail or endurance horse, as was her dam.  She has been started on the bit and is doing nicely, and has been on several trail rides.
